Cart Mounting Equipment
Microchip ID can customise readers, scanners and charging equipment to mount on a variety of laboratory cart designs. This space saving concept improves the amount of working surface for laboratory technicians to position animal cages, laptops etc. The charging equipment mounted on the cart allows the handhelds to be left on the cart for charging "on the go" or overnight. Encoders/readers such as the ENC1265 (shown) and antennae such as the ANT610, 611 (shown) as well as the ANT 613 can be mounted securely on the cart. Handheld readers such as the LID 574 (shown) can be mounted in multi instrument charging stations which are part of the cart design.
LID1265 RFID Reader
The LID1265 desktop reader can be used in applications that require a large reading distance and clear visual indication of the tag number. The instrument comes with a downloadable software package (see our support section) which is Windows compatible. A large 2 line LC Display is integrated and it is possible to assign custom names to the ID numbers via the accompanying software. The LCD has a backlight ensuring improved clarity of display. Connection is via a RS232 communication port with the option of a USB interface. The unit can be used with either 110 or 220 volt power supply with the required adaptors.
The reader can be used with several Trovan single and triple coil antennae, including the bench mounted ANT 610, or lance type antennae which are fitted with coil cables for extensive reach capability. The image below shows the LID 1265 coupled to an ANT 611 fitted with a coiled cable. Stands and holders are available for all antennae.
The reader can also provided (as an optional extra) with a space saving mount which can be used to save bench or cart space in the laboratory. (see under Products>antennae and accessories)
